Transcript and action editing (30s)

Story

Show how Screen Recording places screen action chips between spoken words, cuts retakes smoothly across joins, removes filler words without cutting on-screen work, and splices in a pickup take with Replace with Recording….

Scene 1. Delete words and inline action chips (0:00–0:11)

• On screen. The transcript panel shows spoken paragraphs with inline action chips for clicks, typed text, and window switches. The user selects a fumbled sentence and a stray click chip and presses Delete.
• Narration. "Your spoken words and your screen actions sit in one transcript. Select a false start or a wrong click chip and press Delete to cut the video, audio, and zoom tracks together."
• Capture notes. Show the audio waveform closing the join smoothly.

Scene 2. Clean up speech while keeping screen actions (0:11–0:20)

• On screen. Filler words and silent gaps are highlighted in the Clean Up Speech popover, while a silent stretch where the user clicked a button stays protected. The user clicks Apply and the dead air disappears.
• Narration. "Clean Up Speech removes filler words and long pauses in one pass while keeping every stretch where you clicked, typed, or switched windows."
• Capture notes. Keep the preserved action chip visible so the viewer sees why that silent action was kept.

Scene 3. Replace with Recording and linked clips (0:20–0:30)

• On screen. The user selects an outdated sentence in the transcript, chooses Replace with Recording…, picks a pickup take in the sheet, clicks Replace, and creates a linked clip from the finished section.
• Narration. "When a screen changes later, record a short pickup take and use Replace with Recording to splice it into place."
• Capture notes. Show the updated words and zoom blocks in the timeline.
