One price. No subscription.
Screen Recording is coming soon. This page describes the pricing it will launch with.
Most screen recorders charge monthly. Screen Recording is $29, once.
What you get
$29, one-time purchase
- Starts with a 7-day free trial
- All features included
- No account required
How the trial works
Download the app and use every feature for 7 days. There is no trial watermark and no time limit on recordings. When the trial ends, buy a license for $29 to keep using the app. Recordings you made during the trial stay on your Mac either way. They are ordinary files, and you keep them.
Why one-time pricing
Subscription screen recorders hold your library on their servers, so you pay every month to keep access to your own videos. Screen Recording has no server side. Recordings live on your Mac and shared links go through your iCloud account. There is no recurring cost for us to pass on, so there is no recurring price.
What's not included
- There are no paid tiers. Every feature ships to every license.
- Major new versions may someday be a paid upgrade. Your existing version keeps working regardless.
Requirements
- macOS 26 or later
- An iCloud account, only if you want to share links. Recording, editing, and MP4 export work without one.
