Edit by transcript

Your recording is transcribed on your Mac as you record. Delete a sentence from the transcript and it is cut from the video. Remove filler words in one click.

How it works

Transcription runs on device while you record, so the moment you stop, the editor opens with the full transcript already in place. There is no upload and no processing queue. The transcript and the timeline are two views of the same recording.

• Click a sentence in the transcript to jump the playhead there.
• Select text and delete it, and that section is cut from the video.
• The timeline stays available for frame-level trims when you need them.

Remove filler words

One command finds and removes filler words such as "um", "uh", and "you know" across the whole recording. Review the cuts before you apply them, or apply them all at once.

Fix mistakes without re-recording

If you flub a sentence in the middle of an otherwise good take, delete it from the transcript and keep going. Most recordings don't need a second take.

Captions follow your edits

Captions are generated from the same transcript, so every cut you make keeps the captions in sync automatically. There is no separate caption pass to redo. See camera and captions.
