Async updates instead of meetings

A five-minute recording replaces the meeting where you would have shown the same thing live. The people watching do it at their own pace and in their own time zone.

The workflow

1. Record your screen with a camera bubble and walk through the work. Show the design, the PR, the dashboard, or the decision you need.
2. Trim it in the transcript. Delete the tangents and review the suggested filler words and remove them together. A three-minute recording is more likely to be watched than a five-minute one.
3. Share the MP4 with the team. Click Share and pick Messages, Mail, or another service in the share menu, or drag the exported file into Slack or the ticket. Teammates play it where it lands, with no account, no app, and no access requests.
4. Paste the transcript under the video for the people who skim instead of watch. The generated summary and chapters give them the outline, and the transcript gives them every word without pressing play.

Compared to hosted async-video tools

Most async-video tools upload every recording to their cloud and meter you by video count or length. Screen Recording works differently.
