Tutorials

Shows the workflow from the tutorials use-case page. Record a walkthrough, clean it up as text, publish the video with captions and paste the transcript into the docs as the written version.

Setup

• Acme app ready for a short teachable task (configuring an export preset).
• A docs page (help-center editor) open for the final scene.

Scenes

Scene 1. Record the task (0:00–0:15)

• On screen. A window recording of the Acme app. The presenter performs the task while narrating each step. There is one detour, where they open the wrong menu, close it, and continue.
• Narration (recording's own audio). "To set up an export preset, open Settings. Not that menu, this one. Choose Presets, and click New."
• Capture notes. Steps must be visually unambiguous; the video doubles as the actual tutorial.

Scene 2. Clean it up as text (0:15–0:28)

• On screen. In the transcript, "Not that menu, this one." is deleted along with its footage. "Remove filler words" is clicked. A frame-level trim on the timeline tightens a long pause.
• Narration. "Delete the detours from the transcript. Use the timeline when you want a trim the text can't express."

Scene 3. Publish the video (0:28–0:38)

• On screen. Export > MP4 4K, captions burned in. The file uploads to a YouTube-style upload page.
• Narration. "Export up to 4K with captions burned in, so small UI text survives compression and the captions work everywhere."

Scene 4. Publish the text (0:38–0:47)

• On screen. "Copy transcript" in the editor; the timestamped transcript is pasted into the help-center page under the embedded video, which becomes a written, searchable version of the same tutorial.
• Narration. "Copy the transcript and your docs get the written version for free. One recording, two deliverables."

Scene 5. Close (0:47–0:50)

• On screen. The closing card reads "Tutorials with less editing. Screen Recording. $29 once."
• Narration. "Screen Recording."
