Story

Show how a single take becomes a product demo by cutting retakes in the transcript, letting automatic click zooms and cursor smoothing handle the motion, setting Full Frame and Bubble camera passages, and exporting in 16 by 9 and 9 by 16.

Scene 1. Record one take (0:00–0:12)

  • On screen. The user records a single application window with camera, microphone, and system audio on separate tracks. Mid-take, they stumble over a sentence, repeat it, and keep clicking through the feature.
  • Narration. "Record your product in one take at a natural pace. If you stumble over a line, say it again and keep going."
  • Capture notes. Show the live microphone and system audio level meters pulsing independently.

Scene 2. Cut the retake in the transcript and isolate voice (0:12–0:24)

  • On screen. In the editor, the user selects the fumbled sentence in the transcript, presses Delete, and turns on Studio Sound on the microphone track.
  • Narration. "Delete the first attempt in the transcript, and turn on Studio Sound to isolate your voice without affecting your app audio."
  • Capture notes. Show the captions updating automatically as the sentence is deleted.

Scene 3. Automatic click zooms and camera passages (0:24–0:37)

  • On screen. Playback opens in Full Frame camera view, switches to a corner Bubble as an automatic click zoom frames a menu, and follows a smoothed cursor path with click rings.
  • Narration. "Automatic click zooms and cursor smoothing frame every click, while your camera switches from full frame on your intro to a corner bubble during the walkthrough."
  • Capture notes. Show a window-focus click being skipped so only interface clicks trigger a zoom.

Scene 4. Multi-aspect export and timeline handoff (0:37–0:50)

  • On screen. The user switches the canvas from 16 by 9 widescreen to 9 by 16 vertical for a linked social clip, then opens Export File… showing 4K 60 fps HEVC, ProRes 422 HQ, and Final Cut Pro XML.
  • Narration. "Create a vertical social clip, export a 4K 60 fps file, or hand off the cut timeline to Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve."
  • Capture notes. Show automatic zooms reframing on the vertical canvas.
