Coding agents
Shows the workflow from the coding-agents use-case page. Record a bug repro with narration, copy the timestamped transcript, drop clip and transcript into an agent chat. The bug is the shared fixture, the Acme checkout crash that only happens with a subscription item in the cart.
Setup
- Acme checkout app open, cart containing one subscription item, a
discount-code field visible. The app is rigged so pressing Pay
spins forever and logs
500 /api/checkoutto an open console. - A coding-agent chat (Claude Code in a terminal) visible in the final scene.
Scenes
Scene 1. The problem (0:00–0:08)
- On screen. A half-written bug prompt in an agent chat reads "checkout button spins when… I think it's the discount code? error was something like 500…" The cursor deletes it.
- Narration. "Typing out a repro loses the details. Record it instead."
Scene 2. Record the repro once (0:08–0:28)
- On screen. Screen Recording starts a window recording of the Acme app. The presenter reproduces the bug while narrating. The console with the 500 error is visible in frame at 0:09's beat.
- Narration (the recording's own audio, verbatim; these lines become the transcript). "I add the discount code and press Pay. The button spins forever, and the console shows a 500 from /api/checkout. It only happens when the cart has a subscription item."
- Capture notes. The console line
500 /api/checkoutmust be legible; zoom to it as it's mentioned.
Scene 3. Copy the transcript (0:28–0:40)
- On screen. Recording stops; the editor opens with the transcript already populated. The "Copy transcript" action at the top of the transcript pane is clicked. A brief flash shows the copied text with timestamps (00:04 / 00:09 / 00:17).
- Narration. "The transcript was written on your Mac while you recorded. Copy it with timestamps in one click, and export the clip."
Scene 4. Hand it to the agent (0:40–0:55)
- On screen. The Claude Code chat. The prompt reads "fix the
checkout crash, recording attached";
checkout-crash.mp4is attached, and the pasted timestamped transcript sits underneath. Send. The agent's response begins streaming, quoting "00:17 … subscription item" as it reasons. - Narration. "Drop both into Claude Code, Cursor, or any agent chat. The agent gets your words, word for word, keyed to the video."
- Capture notes. Use the same agent-chat layout that the coding-agents page shows, so the site and the video agree.
Scene 5. Close (0:55–1:00)
- On screen. The closing card reads "Show your agent what happened. Screen Recording. $29 once."
- Narration. "Screen Recording. Show your agent what happened."
