The landing-page demo video. It tells one continuous story. Start a recording, fix it in the transcript, share a link. The recording being made is the shared fixture, a "Sprint 14 demo" walkthrough of the Acme checkout app's new export flow.

Setup

• Screen Recording installed, no recording in progress.
• Acme checkout app open in a window, on the export screen.
• Camera available for the bubble; presenter narration prerecorded or synthesized to match the lines below.

Scenes

Scene 1. Start recording (0:00–0:12)

• On screen. The Screen Recording menu bar icon is clicked. The capture picker appears with Screen, Window, and Area options. Window is chosen; the Acme window highlights; recording starts. A camera bubble appears in the lower-left corner of the capture.
• Narration. "Pick a window, hit record. Camera and mic are one click, and system audio is already on."
• Capture notes. Keep the picker fully legible; this is the only scene showing app chrome outside the editor.

Scene 2. Record with a mistake left in (0:12–0:30)

• On screen. The presenter demos the Acme export flow while the bubble shows them talking. They visibly stumble mid-sentence, so the words "um, you know" appear in the transcript later.
• Narration (this is the recording's own audio). "Hi everyone, here's a quick tour of the new export flow. From the editor you can trim, um, you know, remove filler words, and fix mistakes in the transcript."
• Capture notes. The stumble is the setup for scene 4. Don't cut it here.

Scene 3. Stop; the editor opens instantly (0:30–0:40)

• On screen. Recording stops from the menu bar. The editor window opens immediately, with video on the left, the transcript pane on the right already fully populated, and the timeline below. No progress bar, no upload spinner.
• Narration. "The moment you stop, the transcript is done. It was written on your Mac while you recorded. Nothing uploaded."
• Capture notes. The instant transition is the point. Show the populated transcript within one second of stopping.

Scene 4. Edit by transcript (0:40–1:05)

• On screen. In the transcript pane, the phrase "um, you know," is selected and deleted; the corresponding slice vanishes from the timeline and the waveform closes up. Then the "Remove filler words" button at the top of the transcript pane is clicked; remaining fillers highlight and disappear. Playback replays the sentence, now clean, with captions visible on the video.
• Narration. "Edit the video by editing the text. Delete a sentence and it's cut from the video. Filler words go in one click, and the captions follow every edit on their own."
• Capture notes. Zoom on the transcript during the delete so the text is readable; then pull back to show the timeline reacting.

Scene 5. Share (1:05–1:20)

• On screen. The Share button in the editor toolbar is clicked. "Copy iCloud Link" is chosen. Cut to a browser window (no Screen Recording installed, no account signed in) where the link opens and the video plays with captions.
• Narration. "Share a link and your team can watch it right away, in the browser, with no account. Or export an MP4, up to 4K."
• Capture notes. The browser shot should look like a viewer's machine, not the presenter's.

Scene 6. Close (1:20–1:30)

• On screen. The landing-page claims appear as text over a clean frame of the editor. They read "4K at 60 fps · System audio and mic · No watermark · No time limits". The closing card reads "Screen Recording. $29 once."
• Narration. "Screen Recording. Free for seven days. Twenty-nine dollars, once."
